BANKROLL MANAGEMENT

Bankroll management. Start with the stake.

A sports betting bankroll tool for the work around the bet: setting a budget, saving NFL blueprints and keeping a record of balance adjustments.

01 / SET THE BUDGET

Start with money you can afford to lose.

Enter a bankroll and risk level in the Forge. The strategy controls use those inputs to calculate proposed stakes. You make the decision about any actual wager.

02 / KEEP A RECORD

Save the blueprint behind the decision.

Sign in to save blueprints. The dashboard shows saved stakes and supports balance adjustments, so a budget does not have to live in a separate note.

03 / REVIEW THE LIMITS

A ledger is a record, not a wallet.

Dashboard adjustments do not move real money. Keep your records aligned with your actual sportsbook activity. Tracking a bet does not place it.

Useful structure. Room for your judgment.

StakeSmith fits an NFL blueprint workflow. If you want arbitrary custom formulas or a fully offline ledger, a spreadsheet may suit you better. Compare the two workflows, or try a Kelly stake calculation before choosing.

THE DETAILS

Before you decide.

What can I record in StakeSmith?

The dashboard supports bankroll adjustments and saved blueprints. Bet history records results for tracked bets. These are records, not a sportsbook account or a bank balance.

Do I need an account?

Yes, personal bankroll records and saved blueprints require Google sign-in. You can use the standalone Kelly calculator without signing in.

Does StakeSmith move my money?

No. Adding or withdrawing funds in the dashboard changes a bankroll record. It does not transfer money, accept deposits or place wagers.

Will bankroll tracking make me profitable?

No. Record keeping can help you review your own decisions, but it cannot remove betting risk or guarantee a profit.

21+. Educational and entertainment use. Estimates depend on assumptions. You may lose money. StakeSmith does not accept or place wagers.
